Salman scares Asin
Talking about her experience of working with the hottest Khan in first London Dreams and now Ready, Asin reveals that working with Salman is always fun but one thing about him that always scares her is his habit of playing pranks on her.
In a recent interview Asin talked about a naughty and scary prank that Sallu played on her on the sets of Ready. Asin said, "We were shooting for Ready in Thailand and I was getting ready for the next shot in my vanity van. As soon as I opened the door of my van, Salman popped in front of me with something in his hand.
"It was an ugly looking insect and he insisted that I eat it. I later spotted the crew from Thailand eating those insects. It's like edible insects that people in Thailand binge on. Even some of our Indian crew members try it."
When asked if she also experimented with her palate, Asin said, "Yes I tried one and it was very bland."
Well Asin, we are use you must be thanking god that you weren't shooting in China! For the food out there is as bizarre as it can get.

Big B On Top
Bachchan seems to have beaten the heroes of the younger generation – Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan seems to have beaten the heroes of the younger generation – Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar, at least on the small screen. Bachchan, who is doing a phenomenal job as the host of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' had tough competition what with the popular Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar also occupying prime time slots on other channels.
The presence of big stars as hosts on the small screen paved way for a mini TRP battle, and Big B seems to be leading so far. According to reports, 'KBC' - Sony - opened with a 6.2 Television Viewership Rating (TVR), while Salman's 'Bigg Boss' - Colors - fell short and clocked 4.8 TVRs. Akshay Kumar's 'Master Chef' - Star Plaus - failed to add the much desired spice in comparison with 2.6 TVRs.
A unit member of Star Plus' 'Master Chef' said, "It's not a loss for us. Of course, every reality show has different sensibilities and formats, and the three that you are comparing cater to widely different range of target groups, each with a completely different set of demographics. Every show has its own place, every host his own seat and every channel its own goal."

Dabangg Movie Review: Dabangg means fearless. Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) is a totally fearless but corrupt police officer with unorthodox working methods. He can’t stand his stepbrother Makhi (Arbaaz Khan) and detests the dubious Cheedi Singh (Sonu Sood). But when Cheedi tries to put Makhi against Chulbul for his personal gains, the brothers unite to fight back Cheedi. As much as Chulbul Pandey tries to hide his tears behind his sunglasses, the film tries to camouflage its conventional storytelling behind Salman’s style.
GHAJINI and WANTED revived this genre, bringing back memories of the bygone era. Now DABANGG takes this genre one step ahead. DABANGG is rustic, has loads of action, harps on the age-old mother-son and varied relationships [half-brother, step-father], eventually turns into a vendetta fare, has a number of songs placed smartly in the narrative [including an item number]… but the packaging is slick and polished. Sure, it’s old wine, but packed in a brand new bottle, with a new brand ambassador [Salman Khan] endorsing this masalathon.
You walk in DABANGG with 100% expectations and you exit with 200% gratification. Entertainment guaranteed. This film will create a pandemonium of sorts, a mass hysteria, crushing old records and setting new benchmarks at the box-office.
Movie critic Anupama Chopra said the movie was a “mess” but that Mr. Khan was a lot of fun to watch in his role as “Chulbul Pandey.”“It’s the role of a lifetime and Salman Khan bites into it like a starving man devours a feast. He inhabits it fully, strutting and swaggering and even spoofing himself,” Ms. Chopra wrote on NDTV. “I recommend that you see the film for the sheer pleasure of watching Salman Khan in top form.”
Film reviewer Komal Nahta says the story and plot line aren’t new—but that fact didn’t detract from the film.
“The presentation is so fresh, the humor is so new, the characterisation of the main protagonist is so endearing, the performance of Salman Khan is so wonderful,” she raved on the Bollywood web site koimoi.
According to BollywoodHungama, the movie “DABANGG is rustic, has loads of action, harps on the age-old mother-son and varied relationships [half-brother, step-father], eventually turns into a vendetta fare”. The movie gets a rating of 4.5 out of 5.
Dabangg Rating: 3.0/ 5
* Rediff.com (Abhishek Munde): 3/5
* BollywoodHungama (Taran Adarsh): 4.5/5
* DNA India (Aniruddha Guha): 3.5/5

“No more questions about Katrina”: Salman Khan
After being literally pestered by the media about his relationship with Katrina Kaif (or may be ex-lover Katrina Kaif), Bollywood actor Salman Khan has now decided not to entertain any further questions about Katrina.
Salman is currently on a promotion spree of his coming film Dabangg in Gurgaon (in Delhi’s outskirts) during the launch of IIFA Buzz Cafe, Salman refrained from answering any questions that were not related to the film.
"Just ask me about my work, No personal questions please. I have just come from a long studio interview. I will only talk about the film and nothing else,” Salman made it categorically clear.
Earlier this week Katrina Kaif also made a hasty exit from a press conference held at the Taj Lands End in Bandra, as she was literally goaded by the media over her current relationship status.
My goodness!!! For God sake give the two some space and time to at least breath.

Sallu didn’t cycle, he partied
Salman Khan, who was supposed to be a part of the Delhi Cyclothon on Sunday morning, decided to give it a miss at the last hour due to security reasons.
But later in the evening, Salman stepped out of his hotel and went for the promotion of his upcoming movie "Dabangg" at a Vasant Kunj mall where he addressed a large crowd. After that event got over, Salman headed towards Connaught Place for another promotional event. After a long day, Salman went to a party at night and guess who was giving him company this time? Later he was seen along with perfectionist Aamir Khan at the club.
According to sources, "Aamir was in Delhi on Sunday for the special screening of his movie " Peepli Live" for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Later in the evening however, he dropped by at the hotel Salman was staying in. He was seen exchanging greetings with Salman, but made an early exit from the club. It’s just people not getting along, something that doesn’t end peacefully. But if you can manage to stay friends, there’s nothing like it.”
