The Gazette of India Notification dated 21.05.2011 - 27.05.2011 regarding recruitment regulations of Class-III Nursing Cadres and Paramedical cadres/posts
The Gazette of India (No. A-12( 11)I/2008-Med.-IV(RR -PM)) has published the recruitment rule for Employee's State Insurance Corporation (E.S.I.C.) Employee on March 21, 21011. But there are so many anomalies in required qualification for the post of Jr. Radiographer , Radiographer & STA (Radiography). It says that the matriculation (10th stranded) is more than enough for the post of a radiology staff in a important sector like radiology department in a hospital. Who is not able to know nothing about Modern Physics, radiation protection, physiology, patient condition, patient critical condition, high voltage control, fraction of millisecond according to patient body depth, and many more regarding to the patient.
The organization are in same primitive concept about radiology/radiography. It seems that they never hear about CAT scan and MRI scan are include in the same radiology department. So they shows a matriculation passed (10th stander ) out student can do everything. It is not the question about the hospitals system , its about the patient situation they goes to the hospitals for treatment and they did not know that a not qualified staff who are not able to know about the proper radiation dose in X-ray and CT Scan, they do the test in a random manner with different different exposed which increase radiation dose - can leads to a cancer and to death for patient and patient parties also.
In medical science everybody choose there profession like Doctor, Sisters, and Other Paramedical Staff etc after H.S (Higher Secondary) passed out but the ESIC corporation needs to day a madhyamik(10th) pass out student still now for there IP/VIP ?? patient. Is it possible ??? Is it a treatment or Joke ??????
Anyway there is a other interesting story - the required educational qualification for the entry level of Two year diploma course in radiography is 10+2 (H.S Science) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology. But we are astonished to read the notification published in the gazette that educational qualification for the above said post is still Matriculation (10th level), Which is terribly contradictory. A matriculation passed out student knows very well that he or she not able to do the two year diploma course after Matriculation but the honorable persons of ESIC,( under Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India ) did not know the fact. Really it is a incredible India.
Although the required qualification for others Diagnostic post of ESIC like Lab Assistant, OT Assistant, Lab Technician, OT Technician etc has been upgraded from Matriculation to Higher secondary. But the Radiology staff are in the same Matriculation level. Again we told that this is not possible for a Matriculation passed candidate to study Diploma in Radiography or to perform the medical job like spacial investigation( IVP, Ba-study, HSG, fistula-gram, Ascending urethrogram, MCU etc), C-Arm in Operation Theater(OT), CAT Scan and MRI Scan etc.
Now a days the Radiology is a highly up-growing field in Medical Science, So the basic Qualification of the radiographer should be upgraded in Higher-secondary(H.S) for the public interest. The Gazette also informed that there is no senior radiographer post in the recruitment rule published in the notification. We are in the dark that why the post of Senior radiographer post has been abolished.
It is also informed that the people who are engaged to published the recruitment rule had made tremendous irresponsible job. It is requested to publish the proper recruitment rule which is approved by AICTE / Govt. of India / State Govt. for public as well as patient interest.
Readers are requested to give there opinion about the matter and if have any other problem related to this subject please write us as comment we will do our best, Thanks.
