An exhaustive study with over 14,200 respondents from 4 different states
The battle for the reins of Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal , CNN-IBN in partnership with THE WEEK present the most comprehensive and definitive post-poll survey conducted by the Centre for Study of Developing Societies (CSDS). The Post Poll Survey would look to find answers to some intriguing questions as India awaits a historical verdict – who will win the battle for Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha or the DMK, will Mamata Banerjee finally breach the red citadel (CPI-M), will Kerala throw up a new trend in voting and is Assam going to be a tight race for power ?
The poll conducted by the Centre for Study of Developing Societies (CSDS) on behalf of CNN-IBN & THE WEEK, follows a method of systematic random sampling with a sample size of over 14,200 respondents. The special programming on CNN-IBN with the post poll findings would be hosted by Rajdeep Sardesai, Karan Thapar, Sagarika Ghose & Yogendra Yadav along with K.S. Sachidananda Murthy and a panel of eminent experts.
The post-poll survey is the most exhaustive academic study on elections undertaken to deconstruct voter behavior and trends. This study enables researchers to pick a truly representative sample by following the rigorous procedure of random sampling. The study provides voter insights into their opinions and attitudes and is much reliable than the conventional exit polls.
