Pass Percentage: 8,51,874 students who took the intermediate first year examinations this year, the results of which were announced on Thursday, as many as 4,44,747 passed, registering a pass percentage of 52.21. 1,69,871 candidates scored "A" grade (more than 75 per cent). The pass percentage improved by 4.35 per cent compared to last year. Girls' performance at 56.61 pass percentage was better than 48.48 per cent of boys. Regarding vocational examinations, the percentage of pass was 39.97. Krishna district topped the list and Nalgonda figured at the bottom.
