Canada bundle out Pakistan for 184

NEW DELHI: Canadian bowlers put up a brilliant performance to bundle out Pakistan for 184 runs in 43 overs in their World Cup clash at the Premadasa stadium in Colombo on Thursday.


Pakistan lost big-hitters Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzaq in the space of three balls.

Rizwan Cheema first had captain Afridi caught by Nitish Kumar at backward point and in the next over Jimmy Hansra trapped Abdul Razzaq plumb in front of the wicket to reduce Pakistan to 181/8 in 41.1 overs.

Balaji Rao dismissed Umar Akmal and Misbah-ul-Haq in his alternate overs to reduce Pakistan to 165/6 in 38.2 overs.

Rao had Misbah (37) caught behind down the leg side by Ashish Bagai after trapping Umar plumb in front of the wicket for 48.Read more.......
